  1. As a Florida resident, I can answer that question. Aside from the immediate family, your out-of-state family members come down to visit and they don't want to leave. A couple of years ago my brother came down from Missouri for a two-week vacation. After the third week of living in my guest room . I had asked him when are you going home? just to make a long story short I ended up having to threaten to get him a room at a motel to get him out of my damn house and back to Missouri. Oh and his wife complained about how hot it was the whole damn time, after the first few days they barely left the house. If anyone is going to sit around fart and burp on my couch is going to be me and my wife.(mainly me)From then on when he comes down to visit he stays in hotel. I went through this with a number of family members, even the ones who live in Florida, never again. When they come to Tampa to visit my wife and I give them a list of reasonable priced hotels. There is not an open invitation to stay at my house, family is annoying.😈
