As a black man and a trucker before I started my transportation company I've been to all these states many times. I can totally agree, but it wasn't what I expected. The people were nice fun and very cool, none of the things I expected at all. (I don't see color just people) I'd love to go back to some of those places to visit, but I can't go in the winter they get too cold for me. The cold and I don't get along very well, plus my wife loves tropical islands. Happy wife, happy life.

@LawrenceRoss1906 I was taught by a strong independent black women, my mom. Not to judge people by what they look like but by their actions, and treat people w/ respect as long as they respect you and who you are. So color is taken out of the equation. Now if they choose to disrespect me respond in king within reason, this is how I was raised.

@LawrenceRoss1906 I grew up on St Louis Missouri during the 70s and 80s one of the most racist and segregated cities at the time. I was a 6'3", 230lbs 16yr, between the cops and the racism I experienced I refuse to let that effect me. I've had more people of my own race do worse to me than call me the n-word. At 16 a black cop his gun in my face cause he thought I was lying about not being on parole or probation. Just because he was scared cause I was bigger and taller than he was, his white partner calmed him down. Oh yeah that's just the tip of the iceberg in my 56yrs. I've experienced it from both sides but I refuse to to let that cloud my judgement and seeing the good and also the bad in people. When you look at it logically there's only one race the human race with all our differences.

@himhim3344 Not what I'm saying, look at people for who they are and their actions. Not because they look different or believe differently. It's time to put racism to bed if not now for the next generation.
