Yeah we do. I've been semi-retired for the last 6yrs since I was 50. I've been my own boss since I was 25. I have an issue w/ authority got fired a lot, I mean a lot, too many times. Apparently calling my bosses an a.... hole and telling them what and where to kiss is terminal offense. Who knew? Lol. So I figured out in order to live I needed to work for myself. Started my own company and never looked back. There's still times I call my boss an a....hole, but that's when I deserve it. Besides old habits die hard. Lol.

@sshomesteaders1776 Hello, you and me both man. I remember when we were teens they said there wouldn't be social security anyway. I took that to heart. I own two businesses and everything has been paid off for years. I've been semi-retired working from home for the last 6yrs since I turned 50. It's nice to see that I wasn't the only one looking forward to the future.

@djkenny1202 Seriously my wife has been talking about Turks and Caicos lately when we fully retire, it's a possibility.

Yeah boi!!!! About time you done something about us Gen X'ers. (You're one too) Hey I'm already in Florida I don't plan on leaving either, moved here when I was 26yrs old. First to Miami then Fort Lauderdale, Coral Springs, Fort Myers, Tampa and now Lutz. I left a yearly cold climate, never want to be cold again in my life. The only time I want to see snow is on the weather channel or the winter Olympics, I hate it. The only time you see ice on the ground in Florida is because someone spilled a drink. Even then if you blink it's gone.

@DENVEROUTDOORMAN Hey to each his own. Nice to point out a once in a decade 3 day cold snap from a year and half ago. Oh by the way my wife and I were in 80° Turks and Caicos that christmas. We were in St Croix this past christmas we'll be spending 9 days in Bora Bora this christmas and new years. Twice a year for the last 8yrs we're on some tropical island paradise somewhere, like I said some of us don't do cold.

@mikeangelson Tell me about it, I'm in the gym 5 days a week and pretty much eat healthy in moderation. We were the don't give a F generation who started the male earrings and tattoos, totally rebellious against authority. The boomers are the one paying for young women's company, they're lucky if they got White Castles and a drink from our generation. Suits and ties seriously only to weddings and funerals, pretty much the same thing in my eyes.
