Decatur Alabama is number two, wow I'm surprised! Last time I was in Decatur Alabama it was 1993 I was in my early 20s. I'd just started my trucking company, had a delivery at the Winn-Dixie warehouse. I was the only black owner/operator there. The local sheriffs saw at the warehouse and asked me ask me what was my business in Decatur, I told him I had a delivery. He told me they didn't care for my kind down there, and rushed them to unload me ahead of other drivers that have been there before I was. Then he proceeded to sit there and wait until I made my delivery and gave me an escort out of town. Which was fine by me cause I didn't want to be anywhere where me and my race isn't wanted. Drove up to I-20 headed to Atlanta and I haven't been back since. I haven't even thought about Decatur until I saw it on this list. In the early 90s there were a lot of places down south had issues with my race(some still do) and those were places I avoided like the plague. Like I said I'm surprised and made it on this list maybe it's changed but I have no desire to go back and see. Besides I'm retired now running my business from my den. The only traveling I do now is when my wife and I go to some Caribbean or Polynesian island or the Keys.(if we ever get out of this quarantine)

@susanhowell1673 I was living in Coral springs at the time. Seems like the West coast of Florida ended up having a lot of new trailer parks. Along with that fool that said he was going to stay on his boat. Whatever happened to him? I never heard anything else about him.🤔

@carriesheffield6024 Nice to know that somethings have changed, if I'm ever in the area I might just stop by and see for myself. I know about Winn-Dixie closing down years ago. Trust me I know I never judged the whole by the actions of a few, I've been fighting that stereotype ever since I was born.
