  1. Most odd (NOT) about the "fire of The Crooked House" pub, soooo soon after it was sold!☹️☹️☹️. Very similar action was taken on a historic pub opposite where I live. Called the Halfway House for a reason - halfway between London and Oxford on the A40. All of a sudden, the back of it was "demolished", with historic front kept, then that was taken down and a most monstrous block of flats that look like prison blocks built instead, with the owners saying "oh we didn't know it had historic protection". A useless local government we had then and unfortunately still there!🤬🤬🤬🤬
