Also what about the old age pensions and benefits the governments are supposed to provide for the elderly. Are the government trying to dodge their responsibilities? If the governments cannot provide for their citizens in such cases then why is there a need for a government?

The fact that a nation has to pass such a law only reveals the moral depravity of the people. When a nation moves away from GOD then evil will flourish. Look through history. Christian nations did not need such laws as long as they were obeying Lord Jesus. The bible cleanly mandates christians to look after their parents. They are trying to copy from the bible and claim it as their own. People do not fear GOD and that is why they are forced to pass laws. Goes to show how ungodly societies are destined for destruction by its own depravity.

@dannyzero692 They don't do it because they are stealing the money. They don't do it because they want to avoid their responsibility. If the government cannot provide the services for the elderly that contributed to the development of the country then the government has by definition defaulted on its obligations. This is what happens when a society turns from GOD (Lord Jesus). They all fall in the end because they eat each other out like zombies.
