  1. Moral of the story: Never ever ever ever help a cop, even if they are critically injured. Especially in a protest. Majority of these people are barely qualified or trained, emotionally unstable and join the force for the wrong reason. Heck, half these people abuse their own wives, children and exes, do you think they're going to treat strangers in this situation rationally? They will abuse their power any chance they get.

  2. He got a lesson in common sense. The police aren't your friends and you should leave the scene immediately in situations like these unless you want them to falsely blame you or injure you.

They could spend that money on research and investing in technological improvements that would make their society not even need Taiwan, but short sighted dictators love war and bloodshed too much for that. These people ran their own citizens over with tanks after all, most of them teenagers and young adults. Even if they get Taiwan they won't stop being dicks of the planet. Honestly if most countries didn't have financial and manufacturing ties with them, other countries would have squashed china by now... but like an abusive annoying in-law, the rest of the world has to grit their teeth and bear their existence while trying to keep the peace.
