"Immediate action"? Lol, yeah no, there are many students still stranded. He even delayed arranging students from being accepted into neighbouring countries when flights weren't possible, causing students to get stuck in borders while trains left with everyone else. The only other government that was this slow to action was Nigeria, who were also stuck with Indians at the border. Many students didn't know what was going on and women even got attacked by guards that they were stranded with who were already angry about Modi's neutral stance on Russia.
