  1. I don't think that is true. Look at some of the popular holidays like Christmas and Thanksgiving in the US and Canada. It is a time for family and gratitude and being positive. I can't imagine life without cultural values that make life better

  2. @gordonfreeman5525  Art comes from inspiration. What inspires you may not inspire someone else and vice versa. It would be hard to make the case that atheists have improved the world. I think a credible argument can be made that at least some religions have benefited society

  3.  @gordonfreeman5525  I think some of the worst excesses of humanity are curbed by the belief in a higher power that may judge wrongdoing either in this life or the next.

  4. @gordonfreeman5525  As to enjoying falsehoods I am guessing you mean a belief in God? I am having a hard time understanding your logic. If I thought my beliefs were in error I wouldn't have those beliefs.
