  1. US80 is equal HKD625, which is lower than what you suggest? And normal room rate is HKD1100 and above, not to mention the location is way off the city center. You are comparing apples with oranges. Everybody know the prices are high in Hong Kong. Whats the use of denying???

  2. I have been to a HKD6 million condo in Hong Kong. The whole unit is so small. The master bedroom is so small you enter and there is the bed with hardly and walking space LOL Dont even talk about the kitchen or toilet where two person cannot pass in the space. Upside is the common areas are extremely beautiful and grand. Its just a brutal fact about Hong Kong's housing.... not forgetting those living in cage homes.

  3.  @gtmc  I dont claim to be an expert on HK. But I have lived in the Grand Waterfront and have been to HK countless of times exploring the country from end to end, island to island. Its a beautiful and exciting country and I love it there. But lets face it, the prices of housing there is atrocious. And the public housing is pathetic. Here you can of course chose a better hotel for the same price in a faraway location. Nothing wrong with that I have done it before. But compare apples with apples, not oranges. Why deny the fact that prices in the city is very high? And what I stated about the living space of HK housing is a fact.
