Magats would have us believe that suddenly they care about Muslims. Israel has been persecuting Palestinians since the late 1940's when they massacred thousands, poisoned their water supplies, destroyed their cities and villages and drove them off their land and into an open air prison. EVERY administration since then has supported Israel in policy and aid. You don't get to pretend that republicans are now, or have ever been, pro Palestinian.

Interestingly republicans voted against a bill that could do just that.

What you really mean is, "Thanks republicans for voting AGAINST a bill that would secure our border."

@dbirds21 Your comment makes no sense given that republicans just voted against a border security bill that would a) disallow any migrant crossing into the U.S. by any other means than a legal port of entry asylum. Currently U.S. law gives migrants the right to claim asylum regardless of how they enter the U.S. b) More boots on the ground. c) Give the president the power to close the border to migrants. d) Have asylum claims processed at the border. Currently asylum hearings can take years and nearly 2/3 of asylum requests are denied and those individuals are deported. So who, again, is not interested in solving border issues?

Republicans recently voted AGAINST a bill that would a) Disallow migrants crossing the border at any point other that legal ports of entry the ability to claim asylum. Currently under U.S. law migrants have the legal right to claim asylum regardless of how they enter the country. b) Process asylum claims at the border. Currently asylum hearings can take years, and nearly 2/3 of asylum seekers are denied and deported. c) Put more boots on the ground at the border. d) give the president the authority to close the border to migrants. You're blaming the wrong person for problems at the border my guy.

Like that money would be used on the homeless. Republicans want to yank school lunches away from hungry kids ffs.

As long as republicans have their way there will never be enough money for universal health care. Only tax breaks for the wealthy and corporate welfare.

Ukraine? Absolutely. Israel? No.

@againstviralmisinformation510 1. They're an important ally in the region both strategically and economically. They are the world's top producer of sunflower meal, oil, and seed and the world's top exporter of sunflower meal and oil. They are among the world's top exporters of grain. 2. Even you cannot ignore that many other regions are suffering the consequences of the global cost-of-living crisis triggered by Russia’s actions. The U.S. has been directly impacted by that cost-of-living crisis. 3. Deterring Russian aggression has critical implications for peace and stability around the world. Ceding ground to Russia’s blatant and illegal aggression against a nonviolent neighbor—as well as Russia’s alleged perpetration of crimes against humanity—would be an affront for democracies and universal principles of self-determination and human rights. 4. The only path to peace is through Ukraine's victory. A Russian victory would force us to divert more resources for a longer time to Europe to deter Russian expansionism, creating persistent threats on both fronts. 5. America does not turn her back on her allies.
