Different studies, different people, different countries . . .different things. There is no one definitive answer regardless of how many studies are done or how many people you ask because attractiveness is subjective. Trying to claim otherwise is absurd.

The average age of a woman starting in the porn business is 22 and the average length of her career is 6 months. That's like saying everyone prefers mint ice cream when it's the only ice cream available. As far as dating apps go, that depends on the app - each one has its own culture. For example, the majority of eharmony users are looking for a serious relationship or marriage. Men are more interested in finding someone they have something in common with, and close to their age. Other sites such as tinder generally have very different users. "Hookups" is the right word, here. A dating profile manager whose job it was to interview people, write an appealing dating profile, and respond to interests, show the #1 reason for older men seeking out younger women was #1 Trophy catch — he wanted a younger woman to feel younger himself. This reason has NOTHING to do with how you view the other person, but how you want to be viewed. In the manager's words, "The reasons came down to a pride thing." There are no other studies that show what age people think are most attractive other than opinion studies. And there are lots of them.
