Hilarious, that's exactly what I wanted to do. I went the paid apprenticeship route. Let's just say the apprenticeship I'm doing is much better paid than all others...

@HontasFarmer80 wrong. Apprenticeships work for engineering type jobs too.

Not even for an engineering degree. Engineering works better with an apprenticeship. University is only really needed for Doctors, Lawyers, accountants, etc

Not going to University and choosing the apprenticeship route is the best decision I've ever made, even if that apprenticeship requires a few extra sacrifices.
