  2. Another reminder that the equator had the most gravity. This is true of spinning masses. We get this understanding from Einstein's general theory of relativity or description of gravity. The velocity at the equator is the greatest and this velocity is translated into the greatest gravity. The lower energy state is closer to the spinning masses.

  3. This is why they were seeking to synchronize the radio telescopes on the planet. NASA sent an accurate Edison clock to Hawaii to synchronize the telescopes. They found the clocks were out of synchrony when the clock arrived in Hawaii. How far out of synch do you think the clock was.? I bet the clock was 45 minutes out of sync. The flew more than three hours at greater than 500 miles per hour. There should be more relativity than we see flying coast to coast in an airline.
