This guy is an inspiration to me and my own path in journalism, especially in with regards to the freedoms we lost over Trudeau’s draconian vaccine mandates, especially the suspension of rights to travel freely within Canada for all who remain unvaccinated (except for children, except for refugees, and for those returning to Canada from abroad, and for those travelling through Canada to another destination, and for native and indigenous people, and for those with certain vaccine exemptions)

Trudeau won the last federal election mostly due to his hardline stance against anyone opposing his extreme national Covid mandates, intentionally mis-characterizing anyone who opposed him as a right wing, Trump supporting, wife beating, misogynist, conspiracy theorizing anti-vaxxer. He hyped the severity of the pandemic, and then offered extreme measures as a kind of salvation from harm and fear of getting sick. And lots of people fell for it. And it worked; he won the election. Now, he has to maintain that pro-vaccine and pro mandate façade in order to keep his power and maintain his base of frightened Canadians.
