  1. There were never any secret tunnels in Gaza; Israel built them all. Whether or not these tunnels were used by Hamas is still unknown, or if it is known by Israel they aren’t sharing it with the wider world. There was never any “search” for these tunnels, but the pretence of the IDF searching for “mysterious terror tunnels” was a convenient pretext for bombarding hospitals.
