  3. Under international law an occupying or military force in control of another population has no rights of self-defence against that population, so no, Israel has no right to defend itself. But Palestinians always have had and do have an absolute right to self-defence. Anything else is an absurd proposition, like a murder calling to cops to report he was assaulted by his victim when she tried to defend herself against him. Absurd.

  4. Besides a few seasoned commander the Israeli army is all conscripts, young mean and women forced into three years of mandatory service. They don’t know sh*te about warfare. They have no morale. Their service is perfunctory. No will to fight and to kill. But they do have a conscience.
