  15. Israel built these tunnels decades ago, according to two former Israeli Prime ministers, reported widely in legacy news media outlets, a few days ago. There is also no indication these tunnels were used as “Hamas command and control centres”, or as some kind of “bunker” or weapons cache. If there was proof of their use by Hamas I am sure IDF would be showing it to the world long ago.
