  1. We shouldn’t care about Canadians. We should care about how the heat is killing people everywhere around the globe these past few months. We should not care about any one country, but about the entire picture. Please zoom out and look around; people dying from excessive heat in souther Italy while people dying from gale force winds and hail stones the size of cantaloupes in northern Italy, Milan and Venice. Entire islands in Greece burning to a cinder, tornadoes in Romania, first time ever. Who cares about only one country in the midst of a global catastrophe?
