  1. It’s always helpful to get the full story, or to get the entire exchange that occurred between these two protesters, not just the one side. You have no idea what set this man off, or what threats his interlocutor may have said to him. Maybe the threats you heard was just him giving back what he was getting, which would explain why police didn’t interfere

  2. Police don't get involved when two people are simply trash talking each other. It was a verbal “fair fight”. My guess is both parties were being equally threatening, but only those two people and the cops would know exactly what the other guy, off camera, said
