  2. While not on an ocean they did get hurricane force winds. Have a look at videos and you’ll see what I mean.

Not really mad, but irked how selective and discriminatory some news events are played up, while other important stories anger ignored for no particular reason; they just end up getting bumped down to the back pages. And yes, while Alberta doesn’t sit on an ocean it has been getting some unusually severe storms this summer alone, some with hurricane force winds. I was admittedly being a bit dramatic there.
