  14. It’s not so much a vaccine as it is a religion, or at least a religious proxy. It has it adherents, the pious and the obedient, as it does it’s heretics and outsiders. There is the sacrament itself, the vaccine, and the priests, the public health officials, giving their daily sermons to the masses in their deliberate, if fake, calming tones, over public airwaves. And above all else there is belief and faith. We have faith in our doctors, in our medical systems and in science. Facts, even scientific facts about virology, aetiology, vaccinology and epidemiology are conveniently hidden from public consumption lest they cause even more confusion. There is no room for debate, for nuance, for questions; the response will always be the same: “shut up and get vaccinated”.

Studies from Carnegie Melon university a few years ago showed that Covid vaccine compliance rates among post-secondary educated individuals was highest in the more educated (Bachelors degrees and Masters degrees), and lowest in the least educated (grade school or some high school), AND in the most educated (PhD’s and professors). Those with Left hemisphere dominance are best suited for following the programme, obeying instructions, doing as they’re told, not questioning authority, getting to work on time and in an orderly fashion until the day they retire (or die, which is about the same for many retirees). People with little to no formal education have survived by learning the law of the jungle, and learning it well, and therefore won’t easily fall into the square hole; they have survived by their wits, not by what the brochure told them.

  29. The news media is partly responsible for this growth in moral cowardice. It is the job of any business to make money, and the news media is no different. They must spin an otherwise boring subject into something much more appealing, interesting, shocking, scandalizing, frightening than it really is. This is why President .trump and the press lived an unspoken symbiotic relationship, despite his frequent denunciations of the press. He’d simply say some outrageous shit and the press would immediately go into a frenzy, and in the process sell more subscriptions, advertising and newspapers.
