  1. Sick people died; healthy people did. It. The masks, social distancing, lockdown policies and even vaccines did nothing to stop the spread of this virus; the elderly and the informed were not protected separate from the general population, as they should have been. We failed our elderly populations. They represent the vast majority of Covid deaths. As a virus evolves it always become less lethal, but more infectious. It fine tunes itself and it’s ability to get around, while keeping its host alive.
