  1. Wrong. The cyclist was ahead of the truck and therefore the cyclist was first in the intersection and therefore had the right of way over the truck. The truck driver intentionally overtook the cyclist at the last second and intentionally cut the cyclist off.

  2. If you want to profit hand over fist from working in this city then the City must make side guards a mandatory requirement of YOUR ENTIRE FLEET of trucks in order to gain the privilege of working here. People are more important than profits.
