  1. In the past the vulnerable died out first. That’s how life works. Today, we realize we can extend the life of the elderly and the weak through isolation and protection. This is done out of compassion, and designed mostly through clinical observation. I think this goes without saying, but apparently you need this detail spelled out for you. I hope that does it.

  2. I was replying to CCs comment. Yes, the weak, the old and the sick die off first, but that doesn’t mean we can’t help extend their lives with medical isolation and other extensive medical interventions
