  4. Yes, I agree, everyone should have a home, either renting at affordable prices or buying their own. Why not build upward instead of outward? And yes, I know every newcomer want to go to the biggest city, but not all do, historically. There’s nothing wrong with a tech hub like Kitchener/Waterloo, or Barrie or Ottawa.

No, this is not where people want to live; this is where 3 major developers spent tens of millions of dollars buying out smaller landowners, buying up parcels of land so they could get their buddy to bend the rules in their favour to allow development on previous sanctioned pristine land so they could make enormous profits by selling these homes to the super wealthy who get to live where no one else is allowed to. And just because it is next to existing infrastructure doesn’t make it easier or better; that’s like a mother telling her 5 year old he can’t eat the chocolate bar, but it’s ok for the kid to nibble around the edges. Some people were spoiled as children and were never told ‘No’

Intentionally crippling the entire health care system as a way to foist privatized health care in Ontario. And now Ford is bending the knee to the white mafia, his overlords, the big land developers.
