Owning a condo means you give up your rights on any modifications, repairs, upgrades or changes to the building and any of its systems in deference to what the condo board and condo members vote on and agree to. If you are outvoted on any particular repairs or changes, modifications or upgrades you’re sunk. Nothing you can do. And if some sort of deficiency makes your condo unliveable then it is also likely to be unsellable. Who’s want to buy a defective condo? Now you’re stuck with it for life. Never invest in a condo.
