Its commendable and honourable that Australia admitted to war crimes done by its soldiers, unlike USA which admitted no crimes done by American soldiers, and threatened and sanctioned any who dared to investigate.
2200
@haldir3120 At least, it's one case more than USA, even its just civil. The main point is that military of the west did committed war crimes.
27
@Kmdr_Robotnik That title is reserved for USA.

22/11/23 ( Wednesday ) 11.12 am. I think its a matter of willingness to help the refugees. Indonesia is a big Islamic country with many uninhabited islands. It could relocate the refugees to a few of them after some development to those islands. As for money, Indonesia could ask donations from rich Islamic countries like Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, even its neighbour Brunei to chip in. If the tiny Singapore could have a population of a few million, surely Indonesia could accommodate 1 or 2 million of them.

Compare to that Japanese expert in the video who speculated that those fishes were been chased by bigger fishes, so they ended up on shore, or the fishes swam into cold water, so they were washed ashore. Treated waste water from Fukushima as a reason seemed legit and not so silly.
3
Why not ? Since the ocean current bring the treated waste water up north.

@jiit-6eh Peace between Saudi Arabia and Iran is real. USA forbids peace between Russia and Ukraine - USA and its NATO allies would fight Russia till the last abled Ukrainian. Palestine and Israel got too much blood feud for peace. RIP Palestine.
2
@prayasgupta702 It might be USA fault.
2
@gundam992004 Rejoice. Saudi Arabia and Iran had attained peace through China as mediator.
2
@thehumbleservant21 You should have known that Australia liked to tag along USA in their wars.....
2
@Bekombet Perhaps for Timor Leste, let bygones be bygones ( no choice ) unless it wants Indonesia to invade the new country again.
2
@Jeepus Chrysler It takes courage for the government to admit wrong doings committed by the military, especially war crimes. That, itself is commendable.
2
@Hoopadeez Yeah. But China had not engaged in wars for the past 43 years, unlike USA.
2
@timoaksel9320 What did you expect ? They conquered Afghanistan. In modern warfare history, no one from the victors that had done wrong had been prosecuted.
2
@leekichang8359 Afghans are not pure and had committed crimes during the war. However, the main issue was that USA and its allies portrayed itself, as righteous saviour of justice and freedom to save Afghan civilians from the tyrannical evil Taliban overlord.
2
@wlonsdale1 Don't worry, the rest of the world could take care of themselves. As for your country, perhaps UN peacekeepers could take charge.
2
@Bambisgf77 How so ? The women of Afghanistan were abandoned by the Americans back to the Taliban when they fled the country. Millions under Saddam might be starving, but at least there were political and social stability in Iraq. Unlike post-Saddam era after USA invasion when the country was broken up, factions of Sunni and Shia fighting among themselves and the forming of Islamic State. Millions were hungry and their human rights nosedived during that period, all thanks to USA and its allies "unlawful" invasion resulting to numerous refugees going to Europe.
2
@TheBagOfHolding No country would willingly admit to war crimes. Its the attitude after being exposed that count. In the case of war crimes against Afghanistan by the "democratic alliance", Australia as a whole did not deny its involvement in it which was commendable, unlike USA ( dare to do, dare not admit ).
2
@White_Wrath What do muslims so it all the time ?
2
Even so, those trolls should not attack the family members of the dead.
2
The difference is that the other countries dump "cooling" water, while Japan is going to dump water that had direct "contact" with the melted nuclear core.
2
Strangely, the Muslim refugees do not go to rich Muslim nations like Saudi Arabia. Instead, they preferred Western European countries.
2
The current President of Philippines could donate all his father ill-gotten money to the military for the upgrade.
1
It learned from USA.
1
After seeing how USA treated its "protesters" on 6/1/23 that was broadcasted around the world, and Nancy Pelosi not saying "its a beautiful scene". China citizens, including Hong Kongers realized democratic USA is not much different from their government in China.
1
Now, even NYC is anti-illegal migrants.
1
Collectively, they have big bargaining power.
1
Yet USA wanted Philippines to disagree about the code of conduct about sea travel in South China Sea that the rest of ASEAN countries had approved.
1
The whole world had known the hypocrisy colours of USA.
1
You would be disappointed. If USA didn't send a 100,000 formal, professional soldiers to aid Ukraine against Russia, even with a signed guarantee security agreement. It would not send its decaying navy to cross the Pacific Ocean to do sea battles against China.
1
@jetli740 The fishes swam passed the water of Fukushima ? Then it made sense that there's a possibility of contamination that affect their health.
1
Just let them resign.
1
I think you mixed China with Japan. China dumped cooling water that is not in direct contact with nuclear core. Japan dumped treated water from melted nuclear core liquid waste into the ocean. Different types of water released from 2 countries.
1
Because its 10 times more expensive.
1
If Indonesians so hate Rohingya refugees, they could emulate the British. Just pay the Africa countries to accept the refugees.
1
Xi learned well from Biden, Obama, Clinton and Bush.
1
USA had taught well about the art of deceitful and treachery to China.
1
Strangely, most Muslim refugees preferred Western countries than Islamic countries, given a choice.
1
Then, let them resign.
1
You're mistaken. Without a powerful navy and air force, Philippines would be a push over in South China Sea.
1
@jules263 Same with USA. The lastest human rights violations are against Latin/South American people at its border.
1
The difference is that Canada released nuclear power plant "cooling" water, while Japan released nuclear core waste "contaminated" water.
1
@SRN42069 I already briefly explained that the water in the destroyed Fukushima nuclear plant, was in direct exposure with the nuclear waste core and thus considered as nuclear "contaminated" waste water. It was much more hazardous than the "air-conditioned" cooling water in the "operational" nuclear power plants worldwide. Japan and international public were sceptical and concerned, that Japan would be able to "vigorously treated" the "contaminated" waste water for the next 30 years. Keeping the dumped waste water "safe" in the ocean, in point of view with your standard.
1
South Korea government learnt it from DPP government of Taiwan.
1
@_._._._._._._._._._._._._.____ I was praising Australia not hiding war crimes committed by its military, unlike USA which even tried to prevent any investigations into it. It is not a joke.
1
@persimmon93 You forgot USA and its allies were victors in Afghanistan 20 years ago ? Victors don't execute their own war criminals. Victors only execute war criminals from the losers like in WW2.
1
@weily10 Same with the Ukrainians.
1
@David-ns4ym Both. Australia media broke the news about war crimes committed by the military before the government admitted to it at that time. At least the government had the courage for the admission, unlike USA. As the title suggested, the decorated soldier lost the defamation case.
1
@glennmandigo6069 Its not a PRC fake. I had heard it in international news.
1
@lobo8834 But only war crimes of the losers being exposed and punished.
