Also, NATO/EU did not tuned their military production for war to support Ukraine unlike Russia.   33.  @moffig1  Unfortunately, Ukraine lacks the manpower for long term attrition war with Russia. NATO/EU lacks the goodwill to fully support Ukraine for long term attrition war. Currently, Ukraine is facing sanctions over it's grains export from Eastern Europe. Ukraine would not be able to retake Crimea and join NATO ( France opposed ). It is more realistic to negotiate for peace than to fight till the last abled Ukrainian.
