Damn, you're rich.

@valerievankerckhove9325 USA rejected UK.
5
The karma for sanctioning Russia.
3
@Emperor-Inker Europe was naive in following USA to sanction Russia. Even at the height of the cold war, Europe still receive a stable supply of oil/gas from the then Soviet Union.
3
Because they had won.
2
How ironic. Poor Germany just recently overtaken Japan as world's No. 3 economic entity, while not in recession UK slided behind India.
2
Just burn coal, oil and firewoods for winter.
2
UK wanted to but could not because Stirling Pound is not the world's choice of reserve.
1
Yeah. USA deindustralized Germany. USA bombed Germany gas pipelines. USA spied on Germany chancellor. Germany better worry about itself.
1
No fear. Rishi Sunak is going non-green.
1
Sanction Russia, British pay.
1
EU would reject UK unless it adopts Euro and abide to all EU regulations.
1
Yeah. Rural British just need to add firewoods for fuel.
1
Yeah. After they failed to destroy Russia economy in 2022, and were the receiving end of Russian economic sanctions backlash.
1
Yeah. It's funny that the sick man of Europe is now No. 3 economic entity in the world.
1
Germany is traditionally Europe No. 1 economy. If Germany goes down, whole Europe suffers.

Also, no consequences for Boris Johnson for Brexit and loss of British life during COVID-19 pandemic. No consequences for Liz Truss for causing Britain to lose £50 billion.
1
@tharabhai1794 I think the original commentator was questioning "Are there any consequences to the failed leaders beside voting them out" ?
1
Yeah. If NATO/EU could rob Russians of their personal assets, so could Britain confiscate the riches of British billionaires and multi-millionaires.

22/9/23 ( Friday ) 11.50 am. Britain already lost control of its economy long time ago after Boris Johnson's Brexit. He didn't care about the welfare of the people during COVID-19 pandemic, resulting in numerous deaths and further economic loss. An incompetent Liz Truss was elected simply because she is white, resulting in another £50 billion loss for Britain in just 45 days of tenure. Rishi Sunak was elected to fix the problem, but the economic pit is simply to wide and deep to be filled. Worse, Britain chose to sanction Russia without thinking of the economic consequences, resulting in a whipping backlash to its people. Sanction Russia, British pay. Now, Birmingham city had declared bankrupt while junior doctors still on strike. High inflation and high prices persisted. The middle and lower income earners suffered. Before Putin Russia has a chance to collapse, Britain would slide into oblivion.

@Lando-kx6so The real sick man of Europe is Ukraine, not Russia.
1
Yet, it dared to sanction Russia ?
1
Not so. The honour belonged to Ukraine.
1
All thanks to USA for rising interest rates, again and again which affected the global financial market in 2022/3. Also, NATO/EU economic sanctions and robberies caused a whipping backlash from Russia. Not to mention of USA on-going economic wars with China.
1
@MaxTheLazyCat As such, is your parent going to increase the employees wages ?
1
@袁大陸 Yeah. Not sure about Germany, but China and Japan are offloading IOU from USA.
1
So odd, all those countries listed happened to sanction Russia.
1
Before him, blame Boris Johnson and Liz Truss.
1
Also, work as hard as China Chinese, and no strikes to increase competition.
