And they are winning with the fall of Avdiivka and other areas.

More sanctions ? The collective West had done their worst in 2022, even resorted to robberies of Russian personal assets. Yet Russia economy still left standing, while the collective were feeling the whipping backlash of Russia counter-sanctions.
3
@sH-ed5yf No need to worry about dark Russia future. If Russians could survive the collapse of Soviet Union, they could survive NATO/EU sanctions and robberies. Just look at Cuba and North Korea. If they could still exist after 60 - 70 years of "international" sanctions, so could the No. 11 economic entity - Russia. After Russia wins the attrition war, it would spend more on economic recovery.
3
In that scenario, Russia and Belarus would aid Ukraine like NATO/EU. US forces would be bogged down in Ukraine. Then USA would flee from Ukraine like it fled from Afghanistan.
2
A war lost is still a lost, whether its militarily or politically. In Korean war, USA lost both when the ill-equipped Chinese army was able to drive the American out of North Korea.
2
Yeah, except Ukraine is totally dependent on NATO/EU charities for artilleries unlike Russia which is still self-sufficient. A clear case of non-guarantee quantity of quality ammo and artilleries.
2
Now, they don't even have the courage to face the Russian army in Ukraine, nor did they dare to hit a Chinese navy vessal. Taliban sure terrorised the US armed forces.
2
After the big win against the 4th largest army in the world in Iraq, USA suffered a humiliating defeat against a bunch of terrorists in Afghanistan. How unpredictable USA military performance is.
2
So do USA. Taiwan had bought many weapons from it. After several years, USA still have not delivered the fully paid weapons and ammo nor have the US refund the money. USA is also not trust worthy in weapons sale.
2
27/9/23 ( Wednesday ) 6.00 pm. I don't think Russia would run out of artilleries, after North Korea joined in to provide conventional artilleries and shells to Russia. It also had decades of storage.
1
B52's would have to fend for itself after its escorts engage in aerial fights with Russia SU/MIG planes, and S400 that Russia would deploy in Ukraine. No chance to release them to the designated targets.
1
Tactical nukes ?
1
With the abandonment of Ukraine by USA in favour of Nazi Israel, Russia might be celebrating victory from the Russia-centric peace negotiations from Ukraine, 1 year from now. Tzar Putin would have the last laugh over Beggar Zelensky.
1
To Russia, perhaps it doesn't need so much practical accuracy. Example, if the Russians knew a few Ukrainian fighters inside a room, they just blow up the house.
1
In 2024, after 7 months of the original comment, the Rubles exchange rate stabilize at 92 plus to 1 USD. No sign of crashing.
1
What a way to persuade Belarus to invade Ukraine.
1
@sH-ed5yf Yeah. Just a few more years of full supports of everything from NATO/EU ( USA must issue blank cheque ) and Ukraine could win the war.
1
Yeah. After Poland sanctioned Ukraine's grains and not sending weapons to Ukraine anymore.
1
The nation would be China. USA is already engaging it in trade war, chips war, high tech war and whatever non-military war to slow down China from surpassing USA. I wondered when would USA be able to repay over 800 billion USD back to China, with interest ?
1
The preparation for the full scale USA invasion would take a long time like Iraq. By then, Ukraine military would have upgraded with SU/MIG planes, S400 anti-air missiles, T90 tanks and Wagner mercenaries. 5 days war might extend to 500 days.
1
If Ukraine had sided with Russia and agreed to deploy nuclear weapons in its border against NATO, like in Cuba crisis. Would USA not attack ?
1
It should be "would the largest military in the world, win against Ukraine that is supported by Russia and China" ?
1
You forgot to think that cooperations from NATO countries in Europe and Turkey ard essential. Without their consents to let USA use their countries as a launching pad for the invasion ( air space and sea routes included ), USA would not be able to invade Ukraine.
1
@sH-ed5yf Comedian Zelensky is a fool to instigate Russia to attack a 2nd time. He did not learnt from Crimea annexation that Putin was very serious about threats of war.
1
How to quantify cause, heroism and other human factors ? For example : Zelensky. He was brave in staying in Kiev and not flee from Russia invasion, but he was not brave in opposing USA from peace negotations interferences between Ukraine and Russia in 2022.
1
Yeah. USA military has no courage to face the militaries of Russia and China.
1
In this case, its Ukraine supported by Russia.
1
You missed a factor for war, Money. War burns tons of money fast. With 31.5 trillion in debts and facing bankruptcy in July 2023. USA could not launch any war. Unless in the parallel universe, USA is debt free before the war.
1
@robertlynch1834 Its unfortunate that 31.5 trillion of debts would not affect 800 billion US military spending in peaceful times. It reminds me of Soviet Union. The best and brightest might have left Russia, but it would have little impact to its current economy since the country's economy is mostly resources based. Putin government would take the tab for the hundreds of billions in lost arms sales as he expands the military. China and the rest of the world would replace Europe market that Russia had lost. However, the same could not be said to Europe for the loss of cheap energy provider. Russia had survived NATO/EU economic sanctions onslaught and it would use the money to win the attrition war. Also, Russia even managed to repay 20% of its external debts while fighting Ukraine. A feat that USA could not achieve during its invasions and armed conflicts around the world.
1
@robertlynch1834 I agree with you that 800 billion is a big sum of money, and its ashame that USA does not want to reduce military spending even it is heavily in debts of 31.5 trillion. USA looks like sunset Soviet Union. I think we have different definition of the "best and brightest". To you, its only the ability of extracting oil and gas from the ground.......... You were so emotional in point 3 since Russia economy still remains intact for the world to see, and its currency was not reduce to waste paper as Biden had wanted, even though Russia was kicked out of SWIFT system. Their economy might not be G8 but its still G10. NATO/EU sanctions against Russia had failed and they are in troubles from the backlash.
1
@robertlynch1834 So you had seen your mistakes that the "best and brightest" isn't just about taking oil and gas. Its quite funny you showed me video of Covert Cabal for "economy" lesson.
1
@robertlynch1834 If you re-read my earlier reply to you, you would realize the leaving of the best and brightest from Russia, would have ( little ) impact to the ( current ) Russia economy since it is ( resources ) based ( more than just oil and gas ). You impled that the best and brightest only meant for extracting oil and gas from the ground. Just look at your post ( point two ). Most of it was regarding about extracting oil and gas. As for innovation, research and development. It takes time for the effect to be known. By then, the Russo-Ukraine war could be over. I've seen Joe Blogs video. Based on Russia statistics, he foretold possible economic disaster for Russia in 2023. Strange that 3 international institutes think otherwise in the same video, forecasting only minus 2.5% to even positive 0.7% GDP growth after sanctions. We would see which side is right after a few months. But then, Joe Blogs had been proven wrong in 2022 as pointed out by another commentator.
1
@robertlynch1834 You need not worry about Russia future. Since Europe had ostracised and rejected Russia except for Serbia and Hungary, Russia would look east and be a powerful "Canada" partner of China. Don't say Russia is a paper pussy cat because USA has no courage to face Russia in Ukraine. Taliban clearly had terrorized USA military. You recommended Joe Bloggs video to me, its OK for him to use Russia statistics to prove his point, but not OK for the 3 international institutes to use Russia statistics to prove theirs. Don't be so biased. I knew you did not see the comments of Joe Bloggs video, as the commentator pointed out of his inaccuracy of 2022 in the comment section.
1
Zelensky gave Putin, 6 months to train the new crews, when he postphoned his grand counter-offensive from winter 2022 to spring to summer 2023.
1
This is a hypothetical invasion that would not happen, because Europe would not allow the continent be the staging area for the invasion. So would Turkey not permit USA to strike Russia supported Ukraine from Black Sea.
1
That depends whether NATO countries in Europe and Turkey are willing to let USA, use their country to be the launching pad, and open their air space and sea for the invasion of Ukraine by USA. If not, USA would not be able to attack Ukraine.
1
May not be.
1
If USA attacks Ukraine, Ukraine would beg Russia for help which it would give generously, unlike USA. Thus, Ukraine military might be upgraded with SU/MIG planes, S400 anti-air missiles, T90 tanks and even Wagner mercenaries.
1
Poland had proposed of sending back Ukrainian refugees for Zelensky to draft conscripts to the front lines.
1
Its hard to say. On paper, its more capable than Russian Air Force. But the fact that it had no courage for a No Fly Zone over Ukraine air space......
1
Trying not to provoke an all out war with Russia ? After signing a guarantee security agreement with Ukraine. USA was obligated to send its military into Ukraine to repel Russia invasion. By not setting up even a No Fly Zone in Ukraine, it showed that USA had no courage to face Russia. Perhaps Taliban had terrorized USA too much.........
1
You also seemed to forget US forces fled from Afghanistan, and returned the country to the terrorist group it vowed to destroy.
1
In the end, USA abandoned the people of Afghanistan back to Taliban for the whole world to witness.
1
With no ammo and no fuel for the tank, you would be nailed on the cross by the Romans for heresy.
1
The answer is "Hell No" because Europe would not allow the continent to be the staging area, for the full scale USA invasion against Russia supported Ukraine. Turkey would also not allow USA to launch its invasion from the Black Sea.
1
By the morning, it would be bloody battles as the Russo-Ukraine forces would have encircle the US captured logistical and strategic targets. The US air force would have to fight through the No Fly Zone set up by Russia to aid those trapped deep inside Ukraine.
1
Then you would be arrested and charged with treason.
1
It seemed that Russia would get artilleries supports from North Korea.
1
You talked about logistics. If USA takes the place of Russia and is the neighbour of Ukraine. It would be no contest. But if USA attacks from North America, I doubt Europe would agree that the continent be a staging ground for invasion. Then USA could only attack from the Black Sea, with the consent from Turkey. If not, it would be impossible for USA to launch a full scale invasion against a Russia supported Ukraine.
1
@xt7519 You misunderstood. I was talking about USA invasion of Ukraine supported by Russia.
