  1. She presented the case and the evidence to a grand jury and they voted on an indictment. The DA is allowed to choose whoever they choose as prosecutor. Their "fling" won't affect the facts of the case against Trump and his co-defendants and ultimately, it'll be up to the trial jury to render a verdict, or in your words "bring Trump down." Run along now and go find you a Trump rally to attend. 😅
