More gobbledegook and doublespeak! Global warming is only now global? In the bad old days before we clever scientists were around the earth only warmed in PATCHES? There is no empirical evidence that human activity contributes to climate change to any measurable degree. It was warmer in Europe -and probably the world over - between 1000AD and 1300AD when the Vikings farmed Greenland and the River Rhine dried up from time to time. Proxy data makes this clear, as I am sure this young man and his colleagues are aware. Notice they are now saying that human activity merely "speeds up" global warming rather than causes it. It's probably going to get a bit hotter over the next few years before, as various intensely powerful cosmic forces come into play, it will - quite suddenly - become very, very cold indeed. In the meantime the worldwide conspiracy of hedge-fund managers who have succeeded in creating a market for carbon emission permissions are laughing all the way to the bank. The whole scam is so bloody clever that one can almost admire their skill and cunning.
