Times Radio just gets dafter and dafter. You say what you think Putin was doing, and when he doesn't do it you say he has failed! What egotism. What conceit! The Special Military Operation was Phase One. It was designed NOT to acquire territory but to draw the Ukrainian armed forces into debilitating conflict. This it has certainly done. The real war starts now, as soon as the ground hardens in the south. What forces each side has available we simply do not know. I strongly suspect that Russia has a sizeable army, with at least some units very well equipped. Ukraine is running out of ammo and its army has been decimated. In any event it is clear that Russia has plenty of planes and missiles - despite claims to the contrary - and that whatever happens in the field it is capable of reducing this poor, deluded, ill-led country into dust and rubble should this be necessary for ultimate victory.
