  2.  @alanmorgan7212  So from this I suppose we have to assume that a relatively high proportion of those sharing the misery of A&E with Tim are white people there as the result of excessive indulgence in drink and drugs. Is that what you are implying?

  6.  johnslavin2270  There is a theory that the woes of the NHS - and other breakdowns in social mechanism - are caused at least in part by excessive numbers of often undocumented immigrants entering the country in recent years. These numbers have not been planned for and society is collapsing under the strain. Whether this is true or not I do not know but large numbers of obviously non-native people in A&E would indicate the possibility of this being true.
