  1. As a "Russian bot", I heartily agree. People simply cannot seem to understand that Russia has a very good case. Given the amount of propaganda they are fed this is hardly surprising.

  2. I can't help feeling that this student-like support for a romantic cause will prove disastrous for this country. It is based on the long-standing myth that Putin's Russia is somehow expansionist, and wishes to recreate the Soviet Empire. There is no evidence for this. In fact, common sense ought to tell us that over-extension being a prime cause of the SU's downfall, the Russian Federation would have no wish to repeat the same mistake. The war in Ukraine is a border dispute over the ownership of valuable resources and the tragic involvement of the West in this conflict is due to the fact that if these resources were wrested from Russian control, they would fall into Western ownership instead.
