Canada needs its own 2nd amendment type laws. Law abiding Canadains need to be able to carry weapons for self defense this should include pepper spray and tazers and firearms

@Holly Molly what? Do you realize pal and rpal holders commit fewer crimes than police officers, yet we trust them? We also have red flag laws where if if your wife or husband neighbor call the police they take your firarms? Pal,rpal holders have daily back ground checks?

@Holly Molly its takes more licensing and vetting to own firearms than to get your license and drive a car. Many more people die in car accidents and drunk driving then with firearms

@Lee Day did you watch the videos of the people attacking Kyle? I would say most believe he was innocent. Maybe some democrats or anti gun people would say he's guilty, but a jury said otherwise. As for examples here in Canada you would have to look them up as utube doesn't allow people to share links anymore and lawyers aren't cheap so yes hundred thousand dollars plus to defend yourself plus time in jail if shoot somone on your property who was armed and trying to hurt you and your family. And yes in Canada you can shoot and kill somone trying to kill you it happens all the time with gang members using illegal firearms they don't get charged with murder by instead with the illegal firearm,firing a weapon public etc. I'll see if I can find the article for you and can point you in the right direction.

@Lee Day so ctv did an article called no charges against Alberta man who fatally shot home intruders RCMP it was in 2021. But their are many examples here in Canada.

@Lee Day I've been robbed 3 different times two times with a firearm 1 time with a knife. I've been jumped acouple different times for no reason other than walking at night alone. Many Canadians have similar experiences.

@Lee Day maybe you should think of how many women are attacked every year who could have been saved that assault if they could have been carrying pepper spray,tasers or firearm.
