  1.  @CantusTropus  From a genetic stand point it makes sense. Kill those who are different from you, and give your own genes better chances to spread. Which is why morality shouldn't be treated as relative.

  2. Yep, the mother can give her child up for adoption right as it's born, or before. But how can we claim to care about the helpless, when we kill the most helpless? That is a big bit of hypocrisy in the modern left. Sometimes I think the political parties chose issues on purpose in order to divide people. :D

  4. Conservatives are from a liberal system that values individuals. Leftists aren't liberal. They are often authoritarian and collectivist. Yes, this is confusing. :D

  5.  @collinbarker  Yeah, that's pretty much the way I understand it. Jesus took away original sin, and also takes our personal sin if we come to Him. Humans are still weak and easily tempted. But with the help of God, we can overcome and become perfected. Key emphasis on "become". :D

  6. Absolutely. People fall on the left or right, so the center is the best place to be. Extremes leave aside everyone else on the other side. The center is where the most people reside, because the center is the big part on a bell curve. As society and people change, the center may move, but it is always in the center. :D

  8. It makes sense with what the video said, that leftists see their opponents as evil. So if your friends see the world as not accepting of their values, then they would see the world as evil. Except and unless they accept the leftist message.

  9. I think that is a really good topic. Personally, having grown up in Los Angeles, and then spending my adult life in Utah, I abhor cities and consider them anti-human.

  12. I think the actual progressives and innovators are being oppressed by this religious war. I've seen artists be attacked for what they created far more by the leftists than the right. Conservatives in our day are like democrats from the 80s. They are the last remaining liberals. The modern day left are marxists, all of them, advocating for corporatism and authoritarianism in order to constrain and destroy their ideological enemies.

I mean, we know there are chinese spies in the west, we know the corona virus came from a lab in Wuhan, we know our cheap consumerist crap is made in China, we know that corporations in the west are picking up oppressive and censorious elements in order to work with China, and we know that China is bullying their neighbors, including long time Western allies South Korea, Japan, Australia, and India. Further, I don't really see much anti-sino sentiment anywhere, except in a generalized sense. Most is hyper focused on the CCP, as it should be. In the 30s, people praised Nazi Germany. It was only afterwards that it was condemned. The CCP is the Nazi Party. Concentration camps and aggressive expansionism for resources and irredentism provide the reasoning.
