This is some much needed good news in a sad world. We desperately need change. This gives hope it's possible.

The notion that wanting diversity is being "anti-white" is absurd. The bottom line is that we are a diverse nation... and our representatives should reflect that. If our representatives where disproportionately minorities he would still call for diversity. And that wouldn't be "anti-minority" either. I agree that first and foremost policy is what is important. I'm not about to vote for Palin because she's a women or Ben Carson because he's black. But our representatives should represent the people, and not only in policy but in backgrounds. It makes them better able to understand us in a way a non diversified group can't.

Regarding, "I support him and anyone else who is willing to stand up for the less fortunate." Cool. Again, policy if first and foremost what is important. But let's say everyone in politics looked liked Sanders. They are all old. Wouldn't it be nice if there were people of another generation? They are all white. Wouldn't it be nice if there were people who know what it's like to be racial profiled? They are all rich. Wouldn't it be nice if some knew what it was like to be poor and live paycheck to paycheck. They are all men. Wouldn't it be nice if there were some women with a unique perspective on reproductive rights? They are all Jewish... or let's be a little more general... they are all religious. As an atheist I would really really like it if there were at least a couple atheists in government. Not only would they be able to bring a different perspective but it would send a message to the public that there is nothing wrong being atheist to a public that considers them unelectable. I'm not saying you should be voting based on things like that. I'm not. And I'm not saying you are sexist if you don't want to vote for Hillary, that would be asinine, lazy, and pathetic. But ultimately diversity is a really good thing to have when it comes to our representatives. A diverse government is better suited to represent a diverse public.

Let's say I agreed with you that MJ is not a good thing, which I don't, so fucking what. Then alcohol sure as fuck isn't a "good thing" but that doesn't mean making it illegal is a good idea as prohibition proved. We are suppose to be the "land of the free." Meanwhile we lock up more of our citizens then any country on Earth by percentage of population and it isn't even close. Blacks are 4 times more likely to be in jail for MJ even thou they smoke at the same rate as whites. Go spend some time in a state that has legalized it and realize the sky doesn't fall in when they do. Rather their police get to focus on real crime and tax revenue is created hand over fist. It is a fucking no brainer.

Um... no. That is not what he's saying.

If you really think it seems that way it doesn't speak well of you. It makes me think you have comprehension problems.

Regarding, "how else should one comprehend "it seems to take progressive policies and diversity to win?"" Are you sure he said exactly that? Otherwise you are using quotation marks incorrectly, lying about what he said, and proving my point about you having comprehension problems.

Timestamp your quote then. I welcome you to prove me wrong.

Well you do whatever you want to do to rationalize your lying. If you would have been a little more intellectually honest about it I might have continued but seeing as how you are going to double down on stupid I don't really care to continue. People who can't get simple facts correct have opinions that are meaningless. Take care.

Do you have a citation for that Ghostly?
