Why is the media using a liberal phrase of “living wage”? Maybe the liberal media should focus on the liberal government and how they’re pushing us into poverty ?

That’s right, that’s why minimum wage in supposed to be a threshold of existence. The threshold for success is based on education and hard work . Get an education or trade; and then these things won’t be a problem anymore

@danpham333 Minimum wage, was not designed for one person to work a job and buy a house. It was designed to prevent exploitation of workers.

@StephenLeGresley Basic economics doesn’t entitle you to anything . You just think that because you play a guitar or serve coffee that you have an entitlement to purchase whatever you want ? That has never been the case, anywhere, ever . You spend a lot of time writing this stuff, but you’re not giving any thought? You tell me how much it should cost .. How much should electrical wire be? What about the floors? Insulation? The land? What about the wages? We pay the people to build your house? You can’t even do the backwards math to figure out what you’re saying is idiotic. Guess what sunshine ; as soon as the way, just go up in the store, or at the factory, that’s making your supplies for your house; those prices go up. You can complain all day long … but until you actually get some kind of basic education or trade, you’re always going to be behind the eight ball. I apologize if that offends you You’re tired against “rich kids” is just stupid . Those kids, are getting an education and yes, possibly a trade. All of the things are available to you if you want to borrow the money…. But let me guess, you don’t think that’s fair for you.

@tombottle8041 Who’s talking about rich? Stop leading towards Socialism, and you will be just fine . You need to get a trade or you need to get college education or some thing else .. You have to stop blaming everybody, it’s not fixing your situation . We already see the outcome of hire taxation, with higher prices … Making companies raise incomes, raises prices .

@danpham333 I don’t understand where you think the money comes from … Seriously , you really don’t understand! Payroll expenses is the number one expenses for any business . If the payroll goes up, then my services have to charge more. So yes, it is capitalistic (even the minimum wage is socialist) the end result is the same. The only way to get ahead of the curve is to get specific trade, training, education .

@danpham333 I’m sorry you don’t understand politics or his business works . These concepts, of pensions, healthcare, minimum wages, etc. are socialist ideals that we have adopted into a capitalist system . You’re talking about stock buybacks is if all these companies actually have stocks ! The number one expense for any business is payroll. Well, that may seem like a problem it’s not . Within that payroll structure, there are people at the lower end at minimum wage, and the people at the higher rent with bigger pays; it is directly related to education or trade. You can look at any government website and look at the comparison between income and education.

Young people used to minimum wage, and student loans, to get trades and higher education . The fact that you couldn’t be bothered to do one of those two things, has nothing to do with anybody else . Let me guess, do you want to live downtown Toronto, or London England, and expect to buy a house. How is the dreaming working for you so far?
