Interesting interviews. Indeed younger generations should be more interested in politics and take part in the elections, if they want to change something in their country. They should take such responsibility. However, in order to be able to do this, they should be much more interested in what is happening around them and why, in their own country as well as in the world, and what are the real connections between various events and situations. So that giving a vote could be really an informed, conscious choice, not just unwise populism.

Why Eastern Europe? I think demographic problems, aging society, low birth rates are issues of most of the developed countries, including most of the Europe. Unless You mean here such countries as Russia, which is a completely different reality.

@chillout914 Well, unfortunately it's not so easy. Because in some Western or Scandinavian European countries immigrants, despite of living for more decades or even generations there, do not want to assimilate at all, don't even respect legal order and values of these countries - which we can see in TV news, like riots on the streets, burning of cars, violence, security threats and so on. And also many do not really contribute to a state's economy, but just live of social benefits, not working. So this is indeed a complex, difficult and sensitive topic.

@PigeonSpeaks Unfortunately, such incentives, like for instance social benefits for families on every child which is born paid every month until the child is adult and other social benefits, also may appear not to really work. When such incentives are introduced, at the beginning there's a change visible, like the rising number of births, but then it appears to fall down again. So it is a difficult topic.

Yes, there are of course various problems, like everywhere. For instance, regarding also decisions about energy sector and its transformation, so that it's independent from foreign influences as well as efficient and not incurring unreasonable costs on people. Also with immigration policy, with safeguarding the public security, with demographic challenges, and so on. Generally, people tend to idealize that what they don't fully know.
