  1. It's so sad. It seems that many of these children and teenagers experienced much violence and mistreatment, and often probably also earlier at their home or school environments. And everyone does nothing, no one cares, but they just pretend not see or even further abuse them. These youngsters suffer, have severe psychological problems, resulting in hurting themselves, commiting suicides, ruining their young lives with drugs and prostitution. It shouldn't be like this. The state and the society should do much more to develop and implement a healthy system to prevent such problems and solve them, starting from early stages, when violence, mistreatment, psychological or mental problems begin, not leaving them alone. And it's very often not easy to help such teenagers, who already experienced so many bad things in their lives. So there should be people who are taught and prepared how to be able to help such teenagers, how to get to them and who would care. The state and society should really care about such young lives. Also taking into account that they do need young people, because of demography showing that their society is getting old and there's much too little young people who will work in future for the retired. So it does matter that lives of such teenagers are not ruined.

  2. Probably, many of them can't go back home, when the reason they escaped was violence or mistreatment and abuse in home environments. Like one of these girls mentioned, who cut herself. And also after such experiences, like drugs and prostitution, it's also not easy to come back to normal life and just forget. Many of them probably have psychological problems, that would require adequate treatment.

  3. Well, probably in many cases it's not just "a phase". Like the girl who said that she experienced some bad things at home, and it resulted in severe psychological problems, like cutting herself. And these teenagers commiting suicide. A lot of them for sure experienced much of violence and mistreatment, were misused, have severe psychological problems, some probably are addicted to drugs and so on. Having experienced such bad things in their young lives, it's not easy just to forget and start another life, without any proper help.

  4. No society in the world is perfect, and never will be. So I don't think that there are people who think this. And for sure, every country and society has its problems, advantages as well as disadvantages. Humans are not perfect, so naturally societies consisting of humans also.

  5. It's for sure not so easy, just to give them some material things. Probably many of them, after such experiences, would need proper professional psychological help and support from people being able to get to them and to teach them how to live in another way, and how to deal with psychological problems and traumas, probably also addictions, and other bad experiences, they are struggling with. So it would require real, longer lasting and not mainly material, support.

  6. ​ @user-qm7jw Welfare system or some shelters is often in such cases really not enough. Especially if someone has a family and home, but experienced there violence, mistreatment and abuse. These are often very difficult and sensitive cases, deeply hurting the mind and soul of a person, especially children and teenagers. So firstly, a proper understanding of such problems is needed. And material help in such cases is definitely not enough, when someone experienced bad things, was abused, has psychological problems and traumas resulting from this. And it's also very important that the society understands the suffering of such people, and do not stigmatise them for having such problems.
