  12.  @davidwesternall873  Okay, its an anti-parasitic that works by shutting down calcium channels in invertebrates, so is effectively a nerve agent for bugs and worms. This is why we give it to horses, and also why is used in humans. The alleged anti-viral properties of it only appear with very large doses and those doses can cause toxicity and liver damage. In the US people are using horse ivermectin because it comes in paste form and they can get it without a prescription. But dosing yourself as a 200lb person is not the same as dosing a 1200lb horse. Hence much sickness. Was funny how everyone was talking about Ivermectin curing Joe Rogan when in his own video he admitted having monoclonal antibodies, IV drips and steroids as well as other things.

  15.  @Rid3thetig3r  Oh dear. My point is that the BCG massively reduced TB in many Western countries. Yes its efficacy is lower in India but is still part of a strategy to eliminate. So tell me - when was the last time you met a British person with TB who didn't a) Spend time in Asia and b) Isn't immuno compromised? TB is almost non existent in the UK. Poor countries need vaccines and drugs and they can eliminate it too if we help them.

  16. If you have lots of unvaccinated then they can spread it amongst themselves and spread it to people with compromised immunity for whom the vaccines are not successful. Then we all have to pay higher healthcare costs to treat them.

  23. Covid infection is a good reason to vaccinate. Plus do you know how vaccines work? We give them to healthy kids to reduce their chances of getting sick. That's why you see lots and lots of happy toddlers these days. A century ago most of them would not have made it to primary school age.

  32. No, it makes complete sense. Pregnant women are likely to be around kids more than most. This means their chance of catching German measles is very high from unvaccinated groups. Catch it at the wrong time and the consequences for your baby are not pleasant. Hence the shots.

  37.  @paulnewman9275  Your numbers are idiotic. Recent British report - half a million kids with covid... 25 died. 4800 were in hospital ill. 690 with multisystem inflammatory disorder. The report did not even cover long covid. Yes the odds are kids dying of it are low (thankfully) BUT they still get sick and we have no idea how serious the long covid issues will be and (Spoilers) neurological issues appear to be common.
