@jeffarnold3800 Food stamps for the working ? All for that . You obviously haven't come across many of the non working that have perpetually lived off taxpayers . Many , for generations .

@jeffarnold3800 Everyone should strive to do better . However , I'd vote to INCREASE social help to those that work and take care of their families best they can . As it stands now , benefits are decreased if you work .

@jeffarnold3800 Think of it as raising a child . You'd want to instill a work ethic and responsibility to your children , to work hard for what they want . Not to simply give them everything for nothing and certainly not to reward them for not trying ! Sure , you help them but you want them to do their part as well .

@jeffarnold3800 A social net is meant to help those that fall and meant to help them back up , not to entirely subsist upon taxpayers . Weeding out the parasites will leave more funds available to truly help the ones looking to escape poverty , as well as those that truly cannot fend for themselves

@jeffarnold3800 It's quite simple . Help those that help themselves . You don't need school lunches and breakfast if you receive food stamps meant to provide those meals . If you are able bodied and refuse to join the work force in some capacity , ultimately you get zero . Got it ?
