If Europe really wants to stop people from migrating then they should use some of their ill gotten wealth to help the other nations develop; they have both the skills and capital to help these nations develop. But they choose not too, and instead give a little bit of AID money to the corrupt puppets that are in power that are more than happy to sell of natural resources without adding any value to them first... (which is how the west benefits from giving AID) at the cost of millions of people starving.
