Haha, you think? LEOs have been using lip reading services for decades. Rob forgot that one in the video lol. So don't forget the mask! Another old technology is the parabolic sound collector like they use in football games. So better whisper. Also , I have to wonder about a couple of the ones Rob mentioned in this video like laser refraction off a near by object. Or if you have any RFID on you like you might have in your wallet or like that smart dust mentioned in the video that can collect sound too.

This is a great point about the suitability of this video for sharing since it touches on so many topics briefly. I've seen so many of Rob's videos I often wonder which ones I should pick to share to others and this is a great pick. Perhaps Rob might consider making a playlist just for this.

@reefsroost696 Nothing is illegal is the police or 3 letter agency told you to do it. At least that's the way the courts tend to look at it.

Very comprehensive and yet highly understandable look into the state of the art of spying these days. Its truly mind boggling and truly depressing how those fighting for privacy are being astronomically outmatched by the tools of those that would deprive us of it. Let's say you're really privacy minded and know your stuff and you can thwart 19 out 20 ways they have of tracking your movements. But they still get you on the 20th. Sigh. Gg.
