@jackwong64 If they have your phone number they have your location and as Rob was saying if you use that same number for contacts they pull all the data from those contacts like your real name and birthday and address and also get your location from your phone. It's an enormous can of privacy worms to open up.

Is there any difference between using a phone with a DUAL sim card or using a phone with a SINGLE sim card and just replacing one with the other? Other than inconvenience?

@carly09et A belated thanks for your response. I'm trying to understand it as best I can. Perhaps a good way to do that is to ask you what would be the consequence of this security hole? As in someone could do something. Who is the someone and what is the something?
