An economic crisis is first and foremost a psychological phenomenon where the public loses trust in the economy and the banking system and scrambles to take its investment and capital out of the system causing the economy to grind to a halt. The CCP is not trying to control the economy for a soft landing, it is using mass information tyranny to prevent this phenomenon from ever happening. Will it work? Did communism?
