Man, to reach the 1497's deportation (which took a lot longer, Spain still had to persecute crypto-muslims and crypto-jews that tried to pass as Spaniards throughout the 16th century) a 8 centuries long war had to happen before the Catholic Kings could do anything regarding deportation.

However the opposite is also true. Maybe 500 years in the future people would ask where are the French today? Erradication and replacement of native peoples are also part of history, not just "remigrations". See what happened to the Guanche of the Canary Islands or the Indigenous Taino of the Caribbean. Migrations and replacements/expulsions of native populations are also part of human history.
