  1. I've done my share of climbing walls and this is nuts, there's a reason safety checks happen before you go up, and checking the rope is attatched should be a no brainer...

  2. Uh a net wouldn't make sense at a climbing wall, how would a climber get past it? No climbing wall has a net.

  3. Not if they can prove he ran and climbed before staff finished getting the safety equipment on him. I wonder if there's security camera footage?

  6. Well normally you can do that since there would be a rope attached so you rappel down.

  7. Most climbing walls do have concrete floors next to them, you just don't freefall down onto it.
